Do you sell cleaned eggs or as is?

If eggs are clean, I don't wash them. If they are a little dirty I wipe with a paper towel wet with warm water. If they are filthy I toss them.

Remember, we're not talking about putting nasty eggs in the frig. here. I rarely see an egg with poop on it and when I do, unless it's a miniscule amount, the egg goes to the dogs.
An egg with no visible dirt goes in the frig. unwashed. No sense washing the bloom off for nothing. Do you rinse your meats before putting them in the frig.? I can guarantee they have just as much germs on them.
I use hay in my nestboxes. When I used pine shavings, I found that pieces of the shavings stuck to the eggs sometimes and had to be picked off.

I usually use the eggs that need washing, all other eggs that are clean straight feom the coop or just need a couple shavings or feathers picked off go to people who want eggs unwashed.

I rinse my eggs off if there is dirt on them. We have had some serious rain here and my eggs have been a little muddy. So, if there is mud, or poo, on them, I rinse them in luke warm water and set them out to dry. Then pop them in a carton and into the fridge. If the eggs have no visible dirt on them ... well they just get put into cartons and into the fridge. I also do not sell any strange shaped eggs or overly large or really small eggs, or even eggs that are stained. I only sell the "pretty" ones.

don't know the "proper" procedure but for 7 years I have simply used a brief warm water rinse and then air dry. for whomever. they're all given away. they are generally spotless as I am here most of the time and check 3 billion times a day(exaggeration of course) too many chickens!

I wash the eggs if they are dirty before I sell them. I have people who say I don't have to, but I do like to wash as it gives me a chance to really look at the egg and see if there are any cracks I may have missed during my initial inspection. The dogs love the cracked eggs!

That's backwards. Washing in cold water causes the contents of the egg to shrink, pulling dirt and germs into the interior of the egg. They should be washed in hot water only. This causes the contents to swell, pushing dirt and germs out.
Submerging them is also a big no-no. The minute you submerge them, germs are released into the water and then sucked into the egg.
I had two egg customers that initially wanted washed eggs, then I educated them about the bloom. Now they want them unwashed and they wash them right before using; like the rest of my customers.

Yep, what she said

I don't wash the eggs till just before I use them. I only sell to my neighbor for now and I told him I don't wash them because I don't want to wash away the bloom due to its protective tendencies and he totally agrees.

I sell my eggs unwashed, but I have a note in each carton explaining that and why. I also give instructions on how to wash if the buyer chooses to do so. Really dirty eggs go to our barn cats, and slightly dirty eggs get washed and I use them.
