Sour crop can smell, CRD can smell, and I believe IC has a really bad odor to it!! I hope you quarantined that bird! A lot of people in my area use the auction to unload their sick birds.

well i htought i got an awesome pair of sultans at the same time as the cross beak but they had mmmaaaaajor mite infestation so im gonna be picky if i bid on stuff tomorrow

If it was a bad odor, I wouldn't have brought her home. I have a cochin chick that does have a sweet corn chip smell to him/her though. Nobody can seem to tell me what the heck is up with it, but since it's not a bad odor, I'm not really concerned.

I've been told that coryza smells like baby diarrhea - nasty sweet, but poopy.

UPDATE
i went back to the auction today and got rid of the cross beak and the sultans the sultans price DOUBLED from last week so i made money lol nad my cross beak went for a 1.50 lol
