Proving something false is not really that difficult but proving something true requires a larger burden of proof. Courts call it reasonable doubt for that reason.

Just like there MAY be a tooth fairy or Easter Bunny because they've never really been proven to exist or not exist. They MAY exist. By that reasoning, then we should all be very devout Christians because no one can or cannot prove the existence of an omnipotent deity. We just have the best findings of human beings writing things down that they have observed...or things they have NOT observed.

To prove it exists all one has to do is produce 1 little green man.
To prove it doesn't exist all one has to do is check every nook and cranny in the universe.

I'd take the 1 little green man task any day of the week. Because even if I find him in the second to the last nook or cranny I will still have saved time.
