do your tats cover more than 50% of your body? or are they a few well scattered? An employer will tell you that based on the image they wish to project that tats are a mark against you as well as piercings in certain occupations. Of course if you get hired by a buddy with tats then all bets are off.As I have said in other post I think some tats look good but not in excess or on me.

Don't force me to whap you with my cane now. I turn 40 in 5 months and I'm busy drawing my next tattoo. Because I want one. I'm done having babies, so I'm getting one to honor that. I may not live the life you wish to live, but I've been married 20 years, raised at least one kid successfully, worked and supported my family as an all but single parent when DH has been deployed, and I like my life. That's mature enough for me. That last part alone, liking your life, is a huge step in maturity.

My husband is older than I am and he just got another tattoo last week.

I honestly pay them no mind, they've become so commonplace. When everyone has pink hair or wears dark clothes with chains and spikes, you've sort of lost your specialness.

The question, ultimately, comes down to whether you can get a job and carry on the lifestyle, while working. I would never hire someone with a thousand spikes or studs in their clothes, as a furniture mover, nor would I hire someone with chains running from their neck to their wrist, [voluntary self incarceration?] to work on any machinery with moving parts.

As for the ones, who wear their pants below their butt, and spend their life with one hand holding the pants up and the other hand listening to the Ipod, they are a waste of human skin and O2. Just taking up much needed space.

Lol you just reminded me of a video on cops one night! It was some teenage kid running from the cops with baggy pants and he got about 20ft before he couldnt hold them and they fell down. He kicked them off and kept running in his boxers!

They are just like any other kids, they just look more different on the outside than some people are comfortable with. They have dreams and feelings just like any other young person. Beware judging a book by its cover.

I think that if you look at someone and judge them then what good are you. Life is full of wonderful and different people that are soft and not so soft on your eyes. Its your heart and mind that determine if they or worthy of your time of day and if not then that mite be a ANGEL that you have just pushed on by

Being born to look a certain way and then judging someone on that is indeed wrong but purposefully mutilating yourself or dressing in an attention grabbing manner for whatever reason does invite opinions from onlookers, call it what you like "judging them, personal opinion within your own thoughts whatever but it is when you punish them for it is when it becomes judgmentally damaging. IMO
