Do You Think That Hanging Laundry Outside Looks Bad?

I think people who worry about other people's laundry have waaaay too much time on their hands and need to get a life.

I love to see laundry on a line.........

One of my favorite picture of me is a silhouette picking figs I told the newspaper no pics of my face and LOL, with the sheets and work jeans and "drawers" as is called in the south flapping in the breeze.

Over the reorg. here at the house, I think I've lost that pic, but will try to find it.

I'd be proud to have a neighbor with laundry out.....Even in the biggest cities - hong kong for example, you'll see laundry hanging from balconies and apartments.....

Ah well, glad again for many reasons, I'm out of the burbs.....

Call me simple or simple minded but I'd rather see clean clothes than nosy or is that noisy neighbors!

Have a blessed day.

Wait wait. Hold the bus!

Isn't the media all about this new fad called "GREEN?"
As I understand it "GREEN" is supose to be actions or products that are enviromently friendly and according to the media and Government we're all supose to be doing such things.

And using the natural power of the sun is as green as it can get for drying laundry.

Wow, I'm so glad we live where we live!

Hi, how y'all doin'?

when i hang underwear and other things like that out..i take a dry pillowcase, and sort of drape the underwear inside, pinning the top of the underwear and the top of the case on the line..that way they still dry properly and we still maintain a sense of modesty.

My best friend who is 20 years older than me has a real jerk for a son. He is now an officer in the army and when he came home last time to visit, he's early 40s, he took down her clothes line because he thought it was tacky and the neighbors would talk! She has no neighbors for several acres,, but him and his little Trophy wife Twinky are the kind who have to beat the Joneses not keep up with them. I love fresh dried fabric!

Ditto..

Me three!

Our backyard is inhabited by large thieving dogs, not at all safe for laundry. Luckily, our front yard is well screened by trees and shrubs- anyone who objects to it is trespassing!

When I see a clothesline full of clean laundry waving in the breeze I think now there's someone smart- saving money of utilities and getting that fresh air smell- you know, the one most people buy as a sheet to put in the dryer?

I like hanging my clothes out and seeing laundry on a clothesline. My sis lives in a subdivision where you can't have a clothesline....and with five kids she could use one!!

I havent used a dryer AT ALL in over a year!! I would die with out my clothes line. In the winter they get hung in the house, above the washer/dryer (I do have one), or on over the door type things on the back of the closet to which the clothing belongs.
When we moved into this house the wiring to the dryer had caught on fire and was one thing on the to do list. But after a while it got pushed to the back burner, and I have just gotten used to things this way, dont know if I care to have it working again or not.
No take that back I would like soft towels sometimes, and all the little socks can be a pain!
