Do you think that time heals all wounds?

Surprising things happen, given time.

People who used to give me hell just for the hell of it actually turned round and apologised. Although somewhere along the line there I'd stopped bothering about it anyway, seeing as I hadn't really done anything wrong.
I had a sudden change of mentality a few days ago, deciding that instead of constantly looking back and thinking how good times were, I would turn around and try to do something about the future.
Eventually I even stopped suffering such figurative pain every time I spent over $20 in one go. :P
It seems that I have stopped making such a concerted effort to be syrupy sweet to everyone and about everything, even stuff I disagree with, which I take as a sign of things returning back to normal as well.

So what do you think? Does time change things for the better?

Time can heal many/most wounds. Some there is not enough time to heal. I generally look to the future at all times. The only time I view the past is for good memories of friends/loved ones who have passed or to remind myself of those places to which I never wish to return.

Sometimes we have to pass through a dark tunnel to see the bright side of things.

I like this! How very true.

When I'm on my death bed, I'll be sure to drop you a note to let you know if my wounds have been healed.
Until then, who has time to worry about old wounds?

These hurts made me realise that all I really need to worry about is myself. I am the only one that I can do anything about, and I am the only one that is truly concerned about me. Every one else can go jump off a bridge.

That is pretty true. About being the most concerned about yourself, anyhow. :P

Sometimes it's pretty hard to notice things improving. I was surprised to see how much things had moved forward when one day I compared everything to where I was, say, two years ago. :old Somewhere along the line, something must have given.

"There's a room in my heart where even I don't go..."

That's a line from an old gospel song. And for me, it's a pretty
true line. I try hard to be a happy man. I've got a lot of wonderful
memories.

Along the way, been a few hard times. I keep those memories
buried in that room where even I don't go.

But sometimes those memories come rushing back. A song, a glimse
of something. For the most part it doesn't hurt like it use too.

But every once in a while...it seems like just yesterday one more time.

Spook...who likes good memories.
