Do you think the interview time/day slot choosen makes any difference?

I have an interview tomorrow morning (wish me luck!) and I was just sitting here thinking if the time and day of the interview a person selects means much. They called on Thursday to set up interviews. They had several slots for Friday and one or two for Monday. Because I already had plans for Friday, I had to choose Monday. Do you think it makes any difference for better or worse that Im close to, if not the last person to interview?

To settle the curiosity...its for an assistant instructors position at a local elementary school. No teacher jobs open, so settling for what every will get me into a classroom. Wish me luck everyone!

I don't think when you interview makes a big difference. I just went thru interviewing candidates for a job and we go through the same questions for everyone and all candidates are considered based on experience and how well they would fit into the opening. A good hiring manager knows exactly what they are looking for and if the person has those skills, they will stand out in their mind regardless if they were the first or last interview.
