Have you ever had any double yolkers from yours?
Our old leghorn laid very big eggs but we never had a double yolker from her. Until last month i had a black sussex called ebony. She was a massive chicken for her breed and she produced many double yolkers for us she even managed 4 double yolkers in a week out of five eggs!! We were so suprised.

Yes she has and weirdly she has been alot more calm today after laying her egg

No the red sex link layed the egg. She was a bit flighty yesterday but is calm now. The maran however still is a loonatic ! Haha
