I get the mareks vaccine, as that is hard to treat and can wipe out your flock. I don't believe that animal vaccines aren't quite the political cash cow that human vaccines can be so I don't see why not.
Do you like creating controversial threads for your entertainment or do you actually care?
 
I don't see why you wouldn't, if your birds are important to you. The vaccine for Mareks helps stops birds from contracting and or dying from the disease. Why wouldn't you want them to have the best shot (pun intended) they can?

The vaccine doesn't stop them from getting and spreading it as far as I know. They just don't usually get the symptoms that cause them to decline

Interesting. I thought it helped prevent them contracting it.
But still - if I had a flock that carried Mareks, I'd like to keep my birds alive.

No. I may be wrong, but what I've heard is that they still get it and are carriers and spreaders, but most of then will not die from it
