Do you have to or not, I realize if it has been really hot and dry for a long time and there is allot of POO, it is a good idea for the dust and all, but what do you do ? and what are the conditions in your coop/runs.

I don't wear one but I clean under the roosts daily. Then every 3 months I change out the hay. Then once a year I shovel out the sand in the coop and add new but this next time I think I'm going to pour stall dry on the floor then the layer of hay. I changed out the sand this time around and used stall dry under the roosting area and I like it a lot better.

Oh I also sand the roosts down about every 3 months to keep them clean looking.
