Do you wear special footwear in your run?

Keep a pair of Sloggers (from Target) at the back door. Also occasionally slip into my DH's faux crocs - the Walmart kind. We do not wear shoes in the house at all. Coop shoes (sloggers n crocs) stay on the back porch. Try to wipe off the chix poo on the grass while walking between the coop and the house. Both are rubber and hose off easily too.

I think you're on the right track with the sloggers. Mine show no sign of quitting after 10 years. I don't farm, but I do garden heavily in them. Now they're great for my chicken chores, too.

I have a pair of Muck Shoes for summer in pink floral colors and a pair of Muck Boots for winter in lilac. They are so much more comfortable than any other farm shoe I have used, but sometimes I forget and wear my crocs in the coop. We need boots for working around the farm and the garden since it is very muddy from all the rain lately.

Yes! I wear my brown crocs only in the coop. I take them off at the door and they sit in the garage. I walk inside my coop several times a day cleaning it. They are my official coop shoes! I hope I never encounter spiders in my shoes by keeping them in the garage.

I can't keep shoes outside or they'll get all wet. I don't like to keep them in the garage because there are mice out there. I hate mice. I'll just keep changing into my boots at the coop for now and rubbing my shoes on the grass on the way back to the house.

And also-do they carry the Sloggers brand at Target?? If so I'll try there. On their website it says that they don't sell them at any big box stores but maybe it's changed and they didn't change the wording on the website. I went to an Ace store today and they had 2 pair, both not my size.

I have Sloggers and I love them! They are great for the garden and the coop and they have some really cute designs. I love that I can just hose them off inside and out and they just slide on and off nice and easy, very convenient

edit to add: I bought mine off amazon. The reviews said to buy a size up then what you usually take but I disagree with this and I have wide feet. The ones I first bought I ordered the size up and every step I take I make a 'farting' noise because they are so loose, it's quite embarrassing
