LOL, all I have to do is say "chic chic chic" and i'm chased around the yard. In this video I am RUNNING at full speed! Who doesn't love chickens?

If I go outside during my girls free-range time, my girls will chase me, (more like follow me until I give them treats) and when I go inside, they are standing at the back door waiting for me to come and give them treats. (sometimes if they stand there too long, they'll fall asleep)

Cute chase!! When my flock is out free ranging in the yard all I have to do is yell "Hey Girls" and they come running at full speed. Mind you we have 5 acres and it doesn't matter where they are when I call, their like a bolts of lightening!!

She looked a little miffed when you didn't have a treat for her after that run! I love hearing chicken "talk" - and before she figured out there wasn't a treat, she said something inquisitive, like "Berk?"

I don't run, so I have never experienced that particular type of fast chase, but mine do follow me around. I have one girl, Molly, a BA, who talks to me all the time. Goddess help me, I answer her! We hold conversations, my words in English, hers in Chicken.
