You sound great! I'm learning from my mom's friend who married an Italian man and learned the language to get to know him better. I'm just starting to work on possessives now and I've just finished learning verb conjugation. Any tips?

You sound at a good point!
Italian verbs conjugation is pretty hard even for italians!
I dont know what tips are important about possessives, but i could say that we often use the articles with possessives, while in english articles are never used with possessives! I hope i told you something a bit helpful but if you have any specific doubt during the study, tell me!
