Do Your Chickens Get Xmas Presents?

My chickens get more treats this time of the year. Like hemp seed, corn and grains mixed in the layer feed (it has too much calcium if they don’t lay). They get more dried meal worms

Before X-mass the chickens get a light in the coop in the morning. Probably not to please them but to fill my empty egg-boxes. And to please me and my family.

Do the leftover carcasses from our seafood feast count? They LOOOOOVE lobster and shrimp. I throw in a bag of cooked corn to make it a super feast for them.

I'll probably give them a treat and let them free range or something on Christmas Eve.

I grabbed a treat dispenser ball at TSC a while back, and I'm going to give them some treats and free range time.

Sort of. Not on xmas, we don't celebrate, but all our animals get special snacks on holidays, usually things like stored veggies or sprouted greens or a hung cabbage.

The same nutritious feed they get every day. Nothing special because they are very smart but don't know it is Christmas or who Jesus is.

They don’t but they deserve to still feel some joy on this absolutely joyful day. It doesn’t have to be a holiday for humans. Plus, Jesus would want all to be happy, right?
