Most of everyone from Colorado to Pennsylvania probably got snow from this storm. So my question is - Do your chickens enjoy the snow??
Tell some stories about it!! ā„šŸ”

The new girls love to eat it. But it's their first winter. They are not fond of walking on it. They are lucky this year, because the real snow is holding off for NOW. Minnesota winter can hurt the soul and sole. They will get the hang of it, once it gets started.

Mine are 18 months old. 1st snow. So funny. They just walk up to the door and squak. One got down and pecked around and back inside! Turned around and told the others... no way!
Lol!

Mine aren't fans. They might wander out once the sun comes out and the wind dies down if there's some bare spots of ground, but they ain't puttin there waders on.

If it's their first winter, they'll explore, eat the snow, whatever. The old hats have been there, done that, and they've learned the featherless bipedal will bring their food and water into the coop on snowy days so there's no need to budge from the relative warmth.

We got snow Sunday, the girls were disgusted, they just sat in their coop being moody and cross. We still have lots of snow but it's all frozen it hasn't melted, the girls seemed to be bored of sitting inside and decided to venture out into the unknown yesterday :)
