any seed, grain, can be sprouted. just look up what they can eat and sprout it. I am sprouting chickpeas and have done sunflower seeds, wheat berries, rye, bird seed like in the photo, wild bird feed, popcorn. Only thing I can't sprout is oats and rice. Rice is sproutable too supposedly but oats are not. Barley is a clean grain. I use hen scratch if it is clean enough or just wash it first. So nuts, legume and grains including corn are sproutable. Don't forget quinoa and it's cousins. Broccoli sprouts I save for myself. Try millet, mung beans, and brown lentils (whole only) The world is your store.Ya, what feed/seed can be spouted? I've never seen seed feed like that before. What are you sprouting here in the states that can be fed to chickens?
