Since having my older chickens roaming in the coop in run, they've kind of distanced themselves from me! I can bring one inside and talk to it, and i'll get a few ba gawks every once in a while when messing around their coop. Maybe one day mine will gossip with me too!

My birds talk to me all the time, mind you I own 6 Rooster's and they are just nutz.

But when I show up and yell out "Chik Chik CHICKENS!!!" first they call back with what sounds like a group of veloca raptors, then the come staggering over and each one greats me, my BR roo Runt is the most vocal, still kinda has his "chirp"

Especially with sweetie.....she likes to be held and I swear she purrs.

I love most to hear the momma's talking to thier babies.

My Banty Roo crows at me if he hears me shut my car door, or hears me talk. Otherwise the girls will ba-ba-ba...real soft, as they come up to see if I have any treats..Chicken comfort noises..
