Do your chicks insist on sitting on your shoulder?

My BRs and Frizzle like to snuggle under my chin or sleep in my palm.
But this other chicken( sorry, I have yet to post a picture and find out the breed) just insists on either sitting on my shoulder or on a small object. (Like a single finger or the edge of my hand, anything kinda like a bar)
Does this mean he needs a roost bar or w/e?
And sorry, I refer to certain birds as he or she, even though I don't know the sex at all!

Not really, it probally just enjoys hanging out there. You can put a small roost in the brooder, and I'd also put something in there for them to jump on.

Ohh, what could I use as a roost bar thing? And what do you mean something for them to jump on? Like what?

And I took some pics, the chick in the second and third pics are the mystery chick I'm talking about. And the first one I just can't figure out. ;p

My buff orpingtons (which are nearly six weeks and none too light anymore) insist on sitting on my shoulder. They also like to perch upon my head.

And than release a stinky cecal poo.

I have a grown RIR that sits on my shoulder too. Weird chickens. It's not utterly bizare to me...I grew up having a parrot around...but it is livestock, lol.

Today I was kneeling on the ground installing the anti-dig wire flanges on the run I am building and ALL 4 of my chickens decided to roost on my shoulders.

Next on to-do list: roosts for the run.

I have several bantam cochins who will perch on me wherever there is any foothold of any kind (albeit sometimes an imaginary one). One will jump up, and the rest will follow. Unfortunately, my buff orpington, who is now an adult, still insists on using me as a human perch.
