Do your silkies roost?

I have 3 Silkie hens and 1 Silkie roo. They live in the Silkie Chalet. Here is a picture. The roost is approximately 18 inches off of the ground, there is a board under the roost to catch the poo. All of the Silkies sleep on the roost. I also added a couple of Cochin Bantams and they too sleep on the roost.

I have a 3 year old silkie that has never tried to roost. She sleeps in a nest box. I even have low roosts but she won't even try them!

mine does sleep on the roost with the rest of the other chickens.
when she was little she slept in the nestbox.

Mine sleep on shelves. Some are 3 feet up, some are 4 feet up. They hop up on a hay bale to getup there. My younger ones all pile into a nest box to sleep.
