Good luck with the move, we recently made a move and it about destroyed me.

Orpingtons (Buff Orpingtons and Black Australorps) make wonderful pets, very docile, friendly, love to sit on your lap, follow you around like puppies, great layers and are very healthy overall. Other breeds, Wyandottes, Plymouth Barred Rocks, Silkies, and Bantams.

Thanks! I’m going to start next spring and learn all I can before then. I don’t want to be uneducated and try to learn in the winter!
