Docile Rooster

Can anyone suggest a rooster breed that is docile and non aggressive. I'm about to cull my rooster aka satan! I really like having a rooster around but cant tolerate his aggressive behavior any longer. Thanks!

Standard. I have silver laced wyandotte and Buff Orpingtons hens.

Orpingtons are very docile. My buff orpington rooster is great!

Roosters are roosters, from my experience. It doesn't matter how many people say a certain breed's is, we get it and it turns on us. Some are nice, and some are not. We cull ours because whenever we try to tame them, they'll "tame" down, and then a few days later, we turn our backs on them and come away from the coop with bloody gashes. I'd just go ahead and cull him, if I were you. Just a warning.

Ok thanks I may just stick with hens for now. I don't want to chance any of my kids getting hurt. My rooster attacked my dog on Monday and so I'm over him. Evil thing!

I've been lucky with the last two I've got. My Buff Orpinton is great. My 2 yr old was chasing him around the yard this evening. My EE roo is a good protective guardian of his hens but he has never bothered my kids or anybody.
