Doctor Who? Torchwood?

That is my favorite episode of Graham Norton. I was dying laughing at the poor idiot that they picked up in the Tardis. My favorite part of it was when Graham asked him on the phone if he had seen the Doctor's Tardis and the guy said no. Or maybe when Graham told him he would let him know when his bus came... when it was outside the Tardis.

Catherine Tate was pretty good, too, but not as good as David. Did you see the combo episode where they edited together the David Tennant and the Catherine Tate episodes?

I have seen (numerous times) every episode ever shown in the US starting with the first episode (originally filmed in 1963). Boy were those first ones so CHEEEEZZZZZYYY!

The 5th Doctor, Peter Davison...he was really hard to get used to because I already knew the actor as Tristin in All Creatures Great and Small. I'd have to say though, I'm with y'all...Tom Baker really made the character.

Does anyone know if Tom Baker and Collin Baker (the 6th Dr.) are related?

These are both two of my favorite shows. I'm sad that David Tennant is leaving as the Doctor after this shortened series this year. At least we get Torchwood back in July. YAY!!!!!

No, Tom Baker and Colin Baker aren't related. Georgia Moffet, however (who played the Doctor's daughter in The Doctor's Daughter) is the real-life daughter of Peter Davison (Doctor 5).

I always thought that was pretty cool.

I've loved Dr Who for many years and yes Tom Baker was my first Dr Who too. I still think he was the best Dr.

Torchwood is great too. I've always been a huge fan of British tv, growing up in Australia to a British Mum does that. LOL. When my kids are at school the tv is on the BBC during the day. Of course that ends once they get home.

Oh man, I am way too into this stuff. I just re-watched almost the entire series of both Torchwood and Doctor Who while knitting a very long scarf on small-ish needles. Now I've got strange thoughts of what I would do if the Doctor came by...do I run away with him?

I am a Sci Fi junkie! I can thank my dad for that bringing me up on the original start trek episodes and. I watch TAPS ad GHI and anything paranormal and science fiction, etc.

I remember watching the original Dr Who. I am first and foremost though a Stargate SG-1 fan, SG Atlantis and now (drum roll and cheers) Stargate Universe that starts next month! Oh another interesting new series is Warehouse 13! I think we are getting told secrets, but I am an avid informational truth seeker, a.k.a. conspiracy theorist.

Tom Baker IS The Doctor for me and always will be. I wish I could get a coat and scarf like his. I stopped looking a few years ago.
Tom is also the narrator for Little Brittan. That's funny too, in a 5th grade sort of way.

I did catch David on the Norton show. "This is the Doctor, You had your chance, you blew it...(click)"
Way too funny!

I got my wife into Dr. Who but now she (and I) miss the cheesy, low budget props and special effects of the Baker era.
Thank god for Block Buster! They have almost all of them. even the pilot.
