Anybody who's been selling or buying on
ebay for a while knows that feedback will not tell you the real story, especially with items like hatching eggs, or ornamental plants.
Reason being when a buyer receives eggs in good shape, feedback is left, then the buyer hatches them and finds out the birds are junk, it is too late to leave feedback.
Similar problem with plant buyers, sellers.
The dishonest sellers sell plants lousy quality, often post stolen photos from others, you buy a plant sometimes for 30, 50 or more $ then find out
this is not the color or rare variety advertised.
Unfortunately many of those scammers go unpunished for months.
What I do, is I do not leave feedback right away, with items which quality can not be evaluated on arrival (eggs, plants, perhaps more).
You can live feedback on
Ebay up to 90 days from the date of purchase I believe.
