I know it sounds crazy but I have a doe rabbit that gave birth to 6 kits about a month and a half ago and she is now pulling hair as if she is about to have another litter of kits. Is this possible?

Fur pulling is usually associated with kindling, but it is a behavior that is done in response to a hormonal signal. Rabbits don't go "in heat" like some animals, but their hormone levels rise and fall. Some does pull fur when they hit a hormone peak; it can be a real nuisance to have a show rabbit pulling out her hair just before a big show, but it can be a useful sign if you are trying to get a doe bred. And as mentioned, it can be an indicator of a false pregnancy, though that usually happens after another rabbit has been mounting the doe.

Now, this is waaaay out there, but it is possible for a doe to be bred, and have embryos that form but don't implant at that time. These embryos can implant even months after the doe was bred, leading to a litter born much more than 31 days after the doe was bred. So yes, it is just possible that the doe really is preparing for a litter.
