Doe starting to nest, but it's only day 17

Her hutch record card has her consistently kindling on day 28, for her last three litters.

Wow. In 30 years of raising rabbits, I have only had maybe 3 litters born on day 28, and they were very large litters (12 or more). I had one Holland Lop doe that always had her litters on day 30, but just about every other doe has gone for day 31-32 (unless they had a problem).

And now the other doe is hopping around with mouthfulls of hay. It's day 21 for her. From her records, it looks like she kindles between day 29 and 30.

She finally kindled last night. Day 31/32. 3 huge, but healthy kits.
