Does $8 sound reasonable?

I am looking at getting a 3 month old cayuga drake. The person is asking $8 for him. Does this sound reasonable?

Thanks guys. I just wondered. I really want to get him, but I wasn't sure if that was fair for either of us. Anyone want a fawn and white runner drake?

I can't buy a processed duck for less than $20 where I live.

$8 is reasonable....not great, but not outrageous either. I have spent $8 on a lot dumber things than a drake.

Nope. Only 2 stores around here even carry duck. One is a specialty Oriental market, the other is a Mexican grocery. Both charge $5/lb and up.

Well... I think I ended up with a better deal than I originally thought! I went over to the lady's house to get the duck and he is a she!!! Very excited.... I felt bad because she doesn't know anything about ducks apparently. She thought she was a he, but she has a VERY loud quack. The little pekin she has is most definately a male. Anyways, I'm really excited. Sound like a better deal?
