I was wondering if anybody knows if a buff brahma makes a sexlink when crossed with blue laced red wyandotte like light brahmas do?

Thanks for helping me understand i appreciate it.It does not.
Details:
Light Brahmas are a silver-based color. Silver hens can be used in making sexlinks with gold-based roosters (And BLRWd are gold-based) But buff is gold-based. Gold hens cannot be used in making a sexlinked cross with a gold rooster.
Males have two Z sex chromosomes (ZZ)
Females have one Z, one W chromosome (WZ)
In this case, Dad is gold (Z^g/Z^g)
- The W chromosome is short and does not carry some genes, such as barring/nonbarring, or silver/gold.
And Mum is Silver (Z^S/W)
Since the hen (Z^S/W) carries Silver on her Z^S chromosome, every chick that inherits the Z chromosome will inherit Silver. Every chick that inherits the W chromosome will not inherit the silver gene from the mother, because W does not have silver on it.
The offspring that inherit Mum's Z are males, because they have inherited
Silver is mostly dominant to gold, and so the male chicks look pale.
- her Z^S chromosome,
- and also the Z^g chromosome from their father
- To make (Z^S/Z^g)
The offspring that receive the W from Mum are female. They've also inherited one of their father's two Z^g chromosomes and are (W/Z^g) These chicks are gold!
