does a raised henhouse need a floor?

I bought a Chik-n-Barn (http://www.mypetchicken.com/Coops_without_Chickens-Chick_N_Barn_With_Run-P316.aspx) from my neighbor along with the coop. I want to raise the henhouse off the ground, with the bottom of it level with the top of the coop. to give a bit more square footage. Should I build some sort of floor for inside the henhouse? I figure I will give the hens access to it via a ramp from underneath, up to the nest boxes. But I'm wondering if they will also need some sort of floor in there since it won't be sitting on the ground.

I think it would be too drafty without a floor.

I would most defiantly want a floor to avoid cold drafts. 1/2 inch plywood is a good choice.
