Does an only rooster crow less?

I wouldn't let these people walk all over you with the issue of the dog running across property lines. Their thought process is absolutely ridiculous.

I'm glad you have AC involved, and if it becomes an even bigger issue, take the neighbors to court over it.

Document everything just in case.

Yep, I agree that your roo will crow many times through out the day.

I think they love to hear themselves!

Thank you, Chicken Lady.

I have this theory:
1: There are many varieties of Drat!.
2: For each variety, each person has a lifetime limit. You know what that limit is when you reach it. A lot of us don't even have a clue about that limit until we reach it.
3: When you reach that limit, you take no more of that particular variety of Drat!. From anyone.

I seem to have hit my limit for "pushing boundaries" Drat!.

Y'know how hard-nosed older women can be? It's 'cause young women get way too much dumped on them.

And, Bigzio -- I agree, they love the sound they can make. Most of the crowing seems to be a celebration of life. "I'm alive! The sun is out! The trees are green! I fill my lungs with beautiful sweet air!"

Why aren't we all crowing??
