I agree! Like are we gonna get graded on these post...lol If you don't like that we mis spell...hahah don't read it! LOL

You are not going to get graded but wouldn't it be nice if the people you are supposedly trying to communicate with could actually understand what you are trying to say? And you are right - a post filled with one long run-on sentence and rife with misspellings is not worth my time to try to decipher. I don't read it. I thought the point of posting on a public forum was so that people would read what you say. If you don't want them to read it, why bother posting at all?

Another point to keep in mind is that a fair number of our pals are not native English speakers. I like to allow a lot of latitude for them, because spell check does take time.

When I was learning Spanish in Ecuador I was very grateful for the patience shown with my mistakes. I was trying to say how embarrassed I was after an incident one day-and ended up saying I was very pregnant!

It may not be website specific, but many forums have a "spell-check" button along with "post preview".

I agree with the browser suggestion-get the new Firefox browser (free download from Mozilla.com) and it will underline any misspelled words with red lines. That doesn't help in the case of using the wrong word, like roll for role, or here for hear, or they're/their/there but it will keep you from spelling theyre

Yeah as mentioned just use Firefox. Its free and its better. Every word I spell incorrectly is underlined in red, then you just right click on them and it gives the probable correct spellings. simple as pie. I spelled 5 or 6 words wrong when writing this very post.

Hmmm, strange, I've NEVER had any problem reading ANY post on this forum. Wonder what your problem is.

Oh, BTW, your first sentence is a run-on sentence, and your second sentence is not punctuated correctly.
