Does anybody find driving relaxing?

The only time I like driving is when I have nowhere to go, and can go wherever the road leads. If I can't be completely free to meander along and turn down roads just for the sake of turning...I hates it

I love rural and cross country driving. I'm fine as long as there is no one out there glaring their lights at me. According to the doctor, I am the victim of "age related" corneal degeneration. Mr Better Than 20:20 vision no longer exists. It is one part of the aging process that I really hate. I frequently leave home very early in the AM to attend field trial events. I'm starting to think that next season I will have to go the day before. Just making allowances for the "age related" process.

Driving a tractor is relaxing.

Driving a car is torture for me.
