does anybody know what breed of chickens these are

    I know the breed of my brown ones but these white and black were given to me from my father in law...any help would be appreciated

    They look like mottled anconas. What colored eggs do they lay?

    White and are a very broody type chicken. they usually hatch 95 percent of the eggs on their own..the rooster is very laid back and not agressive.

    The color is just reversed on Anconas. I am pretty sure that these are Exchecker (sp) Leghorns.

    Anconas are also supposed to have white earlobes.

    They have to much white to be mottled anconas, their combs are also to small. They look to be some sort of game. Anconas are alot like leghorns and are not known for being broody.
    Mottled birds are black with white tips, exchequers have black and white feathers.
