Does anyone else have "Nutty, Dominering Delawares"!

I have 1 and she is nutty. A little dominating but mostly loud and nutty

Hi both Mama hen and Chris and 1muttsfan overrun with chickens ***


Nice pic's of your Hen ... I wish I could have done with the same with Big B" .. which is her real name but this group's system renamed her for me ... and her sister is little B" too ... but she behaves a lot better than big B" ... but her personality didn't start to show about three months ago and it's a bit to late .. I've tried to do what I can to get her to be nice but it has not worked at all .. .she runs after Izzy and has at least once pulled out one of Izzy's feathers .. she keeps Izzy away from the best food for herself and the rest of them...

1muttsfan ... that was the Big B'... and Little B"... brother who was picking on our other Rooster which is or was our pet who I named Oh-Henry .. and luckily I had gotten my Girlfriend to take any birds back that don't work out so I took there brother back ... he was looking to be pretty but my husband and myself could not put up with him going after the other when Oh-Henry was flying out of his tote in the kitchen at the backdoor to my husband, then to my husbands face and he tried the same with me he wanted so much to be with the rest of them and was not going to put up with being kept inside all the time ... so it's worked out till Oh-Henry keeps getting out ... I'm thinking of getting a cargo net at a local Army/Navy Store ... I hope it works ...

Yeah, I know about Loud Big B"... is almost as loud as Oh-Henry is every morning to let me know "SHE" wants to get out of the pen and let out into there little yard ... she starts at 8am "Every" morning ... I only can egnnor her if my bedroom window is closed otherwise she wakes me more than Oh-Henry's crowing does I've gotten used to him ...

Trust me either close your bedroom window or get those ear plugs for airplanes !!!
