Cordon and Teriyaki are the stars of my little flock.
Cordon actually laid her first egg a week earlier than my California White.
Here they are foraging in the downpour a couple weeks ago. Teriyaki is the soggy one (but perfectly fine).
Cordon is curious about the flakes of straw I put into the coop.
Teriyaki posing for the camera.
Cordon wanted a close-up too.
They were identical almost until POL. Then it turned out that Cordon had a larger comb and a slimmer build while Teriyaki is bulkier with a smaller comb and just a hint of brown on her shoulders.
They're both active foragers who are always digging, scratching, and investigating anything I put into the pen.
I love the shape of them -- so classically what you think of when you hear the word "chicken".
