I refer to all my husbands people as "my husband mother", "my husbands son", they have never treated me or my husband with any respect, and I have never tried to persue a relationship with any of them. Thank goodness they are far away and I don't have to deal with the nonsense! My husbands son(21) lives with us, and I have a hard time with him sitting around while his dad is outside working.
I have talked to my husband to no avail, so I let it be! There is soooo much more to this story, but I won't hijack!
