I few weeks ago I read a post and saw a video here on BYC (I think) about a guy who slaughtered his first bird and it didn't go smoothly...and said something about making sure you don't cut through the feathers. I remember there was snow on the ground, and his two kids were there.

Has anyone read/seen it, and can I please have the link?

I have that link already bookmarked. I'm looking for that specific video...I wanted someone to see it to show them what can go wrong when killing a chicken.

just remembered this he has several videos some on the different ways to clean/gut and part out "butcher" the chicken, like how to quarter it and filet the breast
