Does anyone have experience with a rabbit-type feeder?

I have been eveyballing similar feeders. Seems they'd work nicely.

I use 3 feeders just like that. They hang outside the coop so feeding is easy. The chickens did fling food at first but I covered the opening in 1/4" hardware cloth and cut two slits in the mesh the entire width of the feeder opening and about 3/4" wide and now it is perfect and they do not fling out a single piece of food.

I use the rabbit feeders for my serama. The breeder cages are 24 in. by 36 in. kennel pens. I hang the feeders just high enough for the serama to reach in and eat but not waste it. They do not perch or climb on it. They are super easy to clean and refill.

Remember to get the solid bottom metal feeders, not the ones with screen in them!
