I don't know why my reply just got wiped out but I will say please post pics of your geese they sound really sweet. Usually geese begin to lay the spring the year after they hatch. Around 9 months. My Toulouse female was 9months old. But I have read Chinese will lay fall of the year they hatch. I'd say your Squeak is an exception but what a nice surprise. Do you eat the eggs? they sure make a nice omelet.

I have 4 French Toulouse, 1 Buff, 1 classic Roman, & 1 mix. So far when it comes to noise it depends on individual personalities.

That was a cute video. However my female, Squeak, does all those items.

Pip does however does have a thick neck and the under carriage does seem to hang low. I will try and get a few pictures this week and post.
