Does anyone have green eggs?

pips&peeps :

Here are my blue, minty green and teal/turquoise eggs. A chicken lays the say color egg all her life, it can lighten in color though.

WOW, those are beautiful colors you have there!

Mine lay lt green mostly blue they are EE's.
Onthespot I love those Dark green eggs what kind of chicken laid those ?

The shade of the egg can change a little especially when they first start laying. You can identify the hen by the color tint of the egg though. My EE that first started laying always lays light blue. Sometimes they are so light I mistook the first one for white until I set it in the bucket next to the bantam eggs. On average they are a sky blue. Then suddenly one day there was a dark green egg with slight blue tint instead of the usual sky blue. The next day there was a sky blue egg and a green egg. I can tell which one laid that day by which color egg I get. Recently I have gotten a couple lighter green eggs including a couple days with the dark green-blue egg and the light green egg so I know my 3rd one has started laying. I'm waiting for the day they all manage to lay on the same day.

My bantams also have an average color. Some being nearly pink, others barely off white, and some nearly brown. They do vary a little in shade like I said so sometimes it's hard to tell if one lays darker than average and the other lighter than average but if you look closely you can see the base tint is the same even if the shade darkens or lightens a little.

I have 3 EE's and they all green eggs but each lays a different shade. LOL

Here they are
