Does anyone have too many chickens?

I went into my coop this morning totally over whelmed what a mess!!!

Yes I am like most people that start out wanting 6 chickens

Then my kids wanted chickens

then my DH said lets sell eggs so now

I have over 30 & 10 more being shipped today!
(these are CA whites they will be better layers)

DH says we have too many. We wanted 4 egg layers, but I added a couple of Silkies as pets for the kids. So to him, 6 is too many. he's REALLY unhappy that I want to hatch out more, even though I've been lining up homes for the chicks...

OMG! You guys are GOOD! I started out with 6, and now I have too many! I'd say anything over 50 is too many, and I'm well over that!

I wanted 6 or 8 now I have 45, someone help me!! DH now calls me chicken-lady and thinks I've lost it. I'm done though really, I am, really.......

I have 17 in the run, 6 standard babies in a crate, 16 booted bantams in a brooder, and 7 newborns in the house in a brooder. I'm done now though..

We have 17 now we will start culling out some of them, 10 are currently laying and 7 should start sometime in December. 5 of the chickens are between 1 & 2 years old so we will cull some if not all of them.
