Does anyone know about Duck eggs? Look at mine please!!!!!

A Muscovy duck thought our bushes would be a great maternity ward. Unfortunately a raccoon got to all 14 eggs, except ONE, this one. I have had it in a incubator for about 4 weeks. I know Muscovy ducks take about 35 days before hatching.

Here is a video, I am not sure what the pink pimple looking thing is inside the egg, but he is moving around like crazy. Any advise would be great as I have never done this before.

ALSO. I am not tapping as loud as it seems, promise... i am in the laundry room and it echos really bad






Although it may break my heart...is there something wrong with my whittle guy??

Do you have any idea of what day it's on? Also, does the pink "pimple" move?

No. I don't know what day it's on and yes... The pink pimple this moves a lot.

Oh, then your duckling has internally pipped and should hatch within 48 hours. Put him back in the incubator because he should be in lockdown! Lockdown is when you stop turning the eggs and the humidity is bumped up to 55-70%. Do NOT open the incubator or take the egg out or it may lose humidy and get shrink wrapped.

I can hear it peeping! I haven't taken it out or anything. Does anyone know what time frame I am looking at?

Great! What is your temperature and humidity at (very important)? Your duckling should be hatched within 48-72 hours.

Temp it at 99.0 and humidity is at 70%
