Does anyone know good ways to rehome chickens?

I've never heard of TSC selling the regular Breed.
just the breed, they’re from Tractor supply. They’re Cornish hens and one Cornish rooster
Thank you, and yeah I’m afraid the freezer bit is true. That’s what they were bred for after all
Regular Cornish are not bred for the freezer, that's CornishX.

If they're the terminal breed, I would just process myself.

If it's just the regular breed, try craigslist and make sure to clarify these aren't the terminal ones and can be raised and housed like other chickens and will still lay eggs

Just double checking, are you quite sure they were just "Cornish"?

I searched Tractor Supply just now and found only "Cornish Cross" or "Cornish Broilers." This kind of chicken also goes by "Cornish Rock" or "CornishX". All of them are basically the same breed, meant for MEAT production, and they do not live very long, and can't breed. They are literally meant to be butchered and processed at about 8 weeks.

True "Cornish" or "Cornish Game" chickens are different and aren't as common in the retail outlets. At least none that I've seen. I've only seen them advertised on hatchery websites.

It's easy to get them confused. And an employee at TSC who's not familiar with the difference, might very well shorten the breed name to "Cornish" on the signage or label, without realizing it's a big mistake.

I'd check your receipt, then double-check it against TSC's website for an accurate description.

There is a HUGE difference in how to raise these breeds, and if you rehome or sell them, you'll need to advise the new owners what they really have.

Apologies, I’m not very sure sure what I have I just know I have Cornish chickens.
I’ve heard people call them Cornish chickens and Cornish game chickens so that’s why they’re both listed differently
