Does anyone know if they make a goose egg rack for the turner.....

for the hovabator genesis 1588?? Do you need to buy the turner with the goose rack? Is it a higher power motor? I have the ones for quail and universal.

If that's one of the styrofoam ones I don't think they do b/c the eggs are too tall in the turner and hit the heating element. You have to just lay them on their sides and hand turn them.

yeah all of the ones i see come with the motor i just need the trays i have a motor from the chicken ones.

I'd say that if I was in your shoes I might pick up some hardware cloth for a few bucks and see if I couldn't more or less duplicate what they want to sell you for about $40. But then I'm a cheapskate. lol

That's actually a great idea...looks like you could make wire chutes (fold the edges or ouch!) then install them on every other rack...maybe with zip ties...then when you want to do chickies again just snip them off!
