Does anyone know if this is a hen or a rooster?

We got these chicks from Orschlens and I really think the one is a rooster but I just want reassurance! We want to get a rooster but if this is one we won't have to! this is the guy I think is a rooster:

And this is the other one that I'm sure is a hen, she doesn't have wattles yet and her comb is still tiny compared to the other, also her tail is MUCH shorter!

About a month and a half or two months I think.

Yep I agree the first one looks to be a rooster. Much refer comb. Second is most deft a hen.

Yeah, the first one is the only one out of our ten with a really defined comb, and when we got them the barred rocks were the smallest of them all, but in the past couple days they are getting a lot bigger!

Yeah they will get bigger and a lot wider. But the deep red comb tells me rooster. Another few weeks he should start crowing then you'll know for sure. Nice looking birds though..
