Does anyone know the stregnth of this?

I have a 100gm pouch of Tylosin powder. The pkg says treats chicken x1. Internet says 250-1000mg/kg per Liter of water. Pouch says 1tsp per gallon of water but shows that for pigeons & all birds. 5 days in with a tsp & no improvement with sneezing, hoarseness, & the black dot on comb(the only thing getting smaller) 2 chickens have the black raised dot only one with symptoms. Tylosin dosage is always 1 tsp per gallon of water for any size poultry or chicken, given for 3-5 days. Is it mixing well? I think the water always needs to be added to the powder for it to mix well. It should be changed every other day.

What are all of the respiratory symptoms you have seen with this respiratory disease? Have you seen any bubbles or foam, or swelling in either eye? Tylosin will only treat bacterial diseases such MG. If you have a virus going through the flock, Tylosin will not have any effect.

Viruses such as infectious bronchitis, may cause sneezing and congestion for around 3 weeks. But it tends to spread through the flock over weeks and most birds will get sick. Maybe you could try to get a sick bird tested by your vet or through a national lab such as Zoologix. They can send you the swabs and material to obtain a test and then you mail it back.

I've changed the water daily and added probiotics. Today would be day 6 & I did 2tsp about 2hrs ago. Yes it's mixing well. No other bird is sneezing oe wheezing. This one had been to the vet for shortness of breath on Oct 12th. Diagnosis impacted crop abt for 2wks with Reglan. Then on the 14th day she got a sour crop and almost died. We saved her with a YT video. Her voice has been gone since beginning of Oct. She never fully recovered with bouts of gasping for breath. A month ago came the sneezing, ALOT, shortness of breath mostly when picked up. Not filling her crop like before but eating and acting fine for the most part, laying eggs. Black spot on her crop for a month that is fading, one other has one on a waddle no symptoms. This is not spreading , her eyes aren't swollen just sneezing and afternoon shortness of breath. The vet (exotic pet) doesn't seem to know what he's doing for $500 I'm not going back. Can this just be something chronic? It seems she is purposely not filling her crop like the others now. Anytime you pick her up she mouth breathes otherwise it starts on & off in the afternoon. I have never been so baffled. Should I just leave the girl alone? It's hard to do when she she gets short of breath.Vetrx will stop it after a few minutes, but it always comes back. It comes & goes it seems in an instant sometimes. All other 5 are with zero symptoms after all this time. She was isolated only for 3wks. Every now and again she will have a hoarse voice and then it's back to a voiceless hiss.

“Can this just be something chronic?“

Just saw this…Ive had a silkie 3.5 yrs old, has sneezed her whole life, shortly after moving outside. No other symptoms. Vet thought it may be allergies. She has not had any other health issues
