does anyone know what kind of wattage i need for 2 ducklings or 3

right now i have the 4x4x6 cage ordered online thats on the way and so is the food and planning on puttin my ducklings in a plastic tub for the rest of their baby lives till they hit adulthood and im not sure if im gonna get 2 ducklings (females, 1 black runner, 1 pekin and possibly one male black runner.. im not sure yet) but before i make my choice on either im going to get 2 ducklings or 3 can anyone tell me what kinda wattage i need if im going to get 2 and what kind wattage i need if im going to get 3

also how much should i feed my ducklings (lets say three ducklings that i have how much do i feed, and if i get 2 ducklings how much should feed them) and same goes for adult ducks??????

oh 1 more thing lets say i want my black runners to have babies (IF i want to get a male since im going to think about what im going to order, 1 female black runner and 1 pekin female) wat food would they need if my black runners were to have babies... recommend me food that has lots of niacin, calcium, and protein, but still is healthy food bc im going to KEEP MY DUCKS AS PETS

I assume by wattage you are talking heat lamp? I put a 250 watt on a dimmer and adjusted it for temperature. Worked well for me. Slightly dimmed it is easier on the bulb as well.

5, mostly I had it down to half or less, but they were inside

Really depends on your ambient temperature, put a thermometer down there with them and move it back according we found 3feet away and dimmed way down was about right for the first week or so then less and less

well i live in vegas and my garage is just a lil warm and i have to put a fan in the garage so it doesnt get super hot in there... even with the fan it feels like 87-91 degrees which is nice and cool for ME but not sure bout the lil ducklings

that's plenty hot, if you cool off at night you might need a lamp for a few weeks

ok and another question this site said to reduce 7 degrees but i asked someone on this page and they said 5 degrees and im going to do what they which was 5 degrees but do i lower the temperature 1 degree a day or what?
