Someone spent time breeding this girl. We don't see this nice of speckling by accident. Show picture of her to Leela and see what she thinks. I think you may have a nice breeding hen here but can't see the entire body if so, Speckled Sussex are in dire need of breeding partners. if Leela thinks so, get a nice cockerel and breed this hen. Did the breeder have any other Speckled Sussex?

Thank you very much. I am pleased that she is such a sweet bird and prolific layer. I have named her Sprinkles.
Owner could not keep her and did not know what she was. Owner only had one to rehome.
