I train all my indoor horses to use the litter box (after they have been trained to go on the paper). You have to rub their noses in it (if they'll let you) or you swat them with a newspaper (which I think they like).

I remember riding through my small town in Germany and people waited for me to stop by, hoping the horse would poop so they could gather it and throw it on their garden. Well, my horse had a clock inside and would always poop in front of the same house![]()
Are you selling a pony at the yard sale? I think I need a pony. I don't know why I need a pony, but I definitely think I need one!
Try telling that to my nephew who wants a horse and got a place for it...in her bedroom LOL!
I completely agree, it smells good, reminds me of being a kid. That's what I love about my rabbits, they have a similar smell to them and it's really no mess poo. Hmm there is idea, horse manure incense and candles, I bet you people would buy them too.Funny.... I was just having a conversation the other day at the barn with a lady... and we both wholeheartedly agreed.... how horse poo is really the best kind of poo. How we both like the smell of it. How it's not as yucky as any other kinds of poo.
True. It's not. And it really smells allright.
Cows? Their poo stinks to high heavens... as does chicken, dog, pig, ect. Horse poo is the best poo. Look at it fresh and when it falls apart and it is just grass and grain. Cow poo is more like mud... LOL. So that's how folks used to deal with horses right by the house.
I'm planning a barn house. They make really nice ones.
