So I have a bunch of birds, given to us as random chicks last year.
One hen is white with the odd black speckles, with dark beak/red comb/dark feet. Another is a lovely lavender/grey, with black beak/comb/feet.
I am pretty certain they are crosses, along with another chick that turned into our friendly and sweet grey rooster (but he has large red comb/wattles and yellowish feet).
What breed chicken imparts the black comb/wattles and feet?
Then we have I believe one Hamburg bantam hen (white one) and two hamburg hen crosses? (black one)
And what I believe to be a belgian d'uccle bantam rooster (he is so danged cute!)
All knowledge, speculation, opinions and guesses are welcomed!
