DE doesn't have an attractant and if an insect doesn't crawl around in it then it doesn't die. DE is NOT effective in a barn where flys are hatched faster than the horse can swing its tail....

Most hardware stores carry no-pest strips that contain dichlorovos- can be used in restaurants, barns, hospitals...lasts 3 months. Cage in hardware cloth or something similar to keep away from birds or put in coop porch...I've used them for years, they're fantastic.

i think some of us aren't talking about the samething, these

they are pyerthrin sprays epa and usda approved for food processing rooms

I have been using a bug zapper out side the coop
and its been doing great, have it on 24/7 it kills
everything that flys. also use from co-op the permactrin
powder. in the shavings of the coop.
a large can for 200chickens cost 6.50
goes a long way.
